    Now we show to you an other "kind" of the Greek: The Koine Greek( Koiné (Κοινή), "commom")
Another names: 
κοιν διάλεκτος  / he koinè diálektos / ( The Koine dialect),  Ελληνιστική Κοινή  / Ellenistiké Koiné( Koine Hellenistic) and Κοινή Ελληνική ( Κοine Greek) 
    Before the "Koine" each big city in Athens spoke Greek in many different diallects... So, for example, the Alphabeth used the Athens was not the same of the Peloponnese that was not the same of the  another important regions in Greece. So, it was made to all the Greeks speak just one kind of Greek.
   The Koine was written and spoken since 300 b.c and it was the first common dialect of all Greece that came to serve as a common language in the eastern Mediterranean and ancient Near East during the Roman period. It was also the original language the New Testament of the Bible and the Septuagint (the Greek translation of Jewish scriptures). The Koine is one of the principal ancestors of modern Greek.
